2 Movers $80/HR, Minimum 4 Hours (3 Hours of work and 1 Hour of travel time)

Note: When you hire labor only Moving Help, the movers do not have any professional moving equipment or tools with them. The movers rely on the customer to arrange for tools, blankets and dollies.These professional moving equipment could be arranged with My Smart Movers at an extra cost with a notification earlier at the time of booking.                  

 

 

We Provide truck, movers, dolly, blankets and equipment needed to complete your move. You must notify us at least 48 hours before your move for special or heavy items

For 1-2 bedroom apartment/house with 17' truck

$90 an Hour for Two Movers and Truck

(Minimum Charge of 4 Hours Applies - 3 hrs work plus 1 hour travel time)

For 2-3 bedroom apartment with 17' truck

$110 an Hour for 3 Movers and Truck

(Minimum Charge of 4 Hours Applies - 3 hrs work plus 1 hour travel time)

For 3-4 bedroom apartment with 24-26' truck

$120 an Hour for Three Movers and Truck

(Minimum Charge of 5 Hours Applies - 4 hrs work plus 1 hour travel time)

The following list represents the estimated time required for standard moves. The estimated times provided in this list are for reference purposes only. An actual move may take more or less time depending on several factors such as access to building, parking, flights of stairs etc. For the convenience of our clients this list has been compiled using years of moving experience by My Smart Movers

Travel Time

A flat travel time of one hour is charged for all local moves within Toronto. If pickup location is located 60 kms or more from My Smart Movers office location a flat travel time of two hours will apply.

Minimum Charge

For local moves that originate in Mississauga, minimum charge will be 4 or 5 hours. Flat rates are available for both local and long distance moves. Please contact us for details.

Binding Estimates

With a Written Binding Estimate for your move, the price we quote is the price you pay! A Written Binding Estimate is the correct legal term for a “flat” price, as opposed to an hourly estimate. An on-site moving estimate is required in order for My Smart Movers to provide a Written Binding Estimate (it is illegal to give binding moving estimates over the phone) and is based on the agreed upon inventory of goods to be moved and services to be provided. As we have an opportunity to physically evaluate the goods, we are able to offer a flat price. If inventory of items changes or increases during the move, My Smart Movers will recalculate and provide a revised estimate.A flat rate is usually 10 to 20 percent higher then an hourly rate.

Packing/Unpacking
The services of packing and unpacking during the move are performed at the regular moving rates. You are only charged the straight hourly rate for all labor services, there is no surcharge while My Smart Movers, moving crew is packing and/or unpacking. Hourly rate does not include packing materials.  

 

 

Basic Disassembly/Reassembly
The services of basic disassembly of items such as bed frames are performed at the same hourly rate as the move. You are only charged the straight hourly rate for all labor services, there is no surcharge for disassembling basic items. However re-assembly of all basic items is charged at $45 per piece. This will added to your final bill.

Advanced Disassembly/Reassembly
Disassembly and reassembly of items such as sofas, built-ins, armoires and some wall units is completed by a furniture specialist. There is an extra charge for these services (please speak to your project manager should you require such services as My Smart Movers representative may need to view the items prior to the move to estimate the cost and work required). 

 Trucks
The hourly rate quoted will include the manpower, dollies, blankets and vehicles.
