How much tip should I pay my movers? Is it the same concept as tipping a pizza delivery guy or like a restaurant?

1. Honestly it depends on how big your move
was. Usually it's better the let the movers
know when your move is started that they can
expect a good tip if the work is good. You might have
hired the most professional ottawa moving company
however the workers are paid hourly and usually
minimum wage and an extra $20 each mover after
doing the job can really make their day.

$20 each mover.

How much Insurance is enough for my move. full coverage or just basic?

1. Good Well if you have a $1000 or more expensive tv
then I would go for full coverage Insurance but for
regular household items I'd stick to the basic
insurance and save my money.

2. Good Well Sorry I have to disagree with you james. I
think full value protection is the way to go. Think about
it you may not thing you have expensive items but
paying like $120 to cover $3000 is worth it to
me. What if you are left with an ugly scratch on your
dresser. Can you live with that for years to come? Me.
No I will spend the $120 knowing that I'm covered in
case of the unfortunate.

Hi, I have a 3 bedroom house. Can this fit in a 17 Feet truck and are 2 guys enough. I'm moving within ottawa area?

1. Good Actually it all depends on how much stuff you
have, Just ask the moving company for a better
estimate. However I think you will need at least a 20
Feet truck and 3 guys. You can do 17 feet truck and 2
movers but you end up paying more money because
you may have to do 2 trips. Because the move is within
ottawa so it may just workout.
